The following are the prerequisite to be considered by an administrator and a cashier before using the Yonoton PoS system:

• An outlet should already be set up by the administrator.
• An administrator should have assigned a username and password (Pin Code) to the cashier.
• The PoS system should be working effectively.
• It is recommended that the PoS should be set to a language the cashier understands.
• The cashier is expected to be able to use electronic devices.
• Only one cashier can use a PoS system to perform a transaction at a given time.
• Only one transaction can be performed at a time. This implies that an order has to be processed/completed or canceled before another order can be processed.
