The Language selection: Some specific details of a product can be written in several languages depending on the language support available for the merchant or requested by the administrator. A default language can be selected. The name of the product, short description and long description can have different language translations. The administrator needs to type-out the translated version after selecting the appropriate language icon.
Name of the product: This is the name that will be displayed on the PoS device used by the cashier

Long description
Tags: Adding tags to products makes it easy for products to be identified when searching on the product list. Tags are also useful when setting up discounts for products.
Price: The price at which the product is to be sold to customers. For example, 15.99.
VAT (Value Added tax): Is the general consumption tax for the consumption of goods and services. For example, 14% is the VAT rate for some products in Finland.
Product cost: This is the cost of producing a product. For example, 10.99.
C02 Value: the CO2 value of a product can be inserted and this can be seen on the mobile application. In addition, the mobile app has a feature of promoting the lowest CO2 value product on the app. This is specific to certain mobile App developed by Yonoton.
Diets and Allergens
**EAN (**European Article Number- barcode): This is used for products with barcodes.
Preparation time and Cancellation time
Importing reference code: Reference codes for products can be configured as a drop-down list for administrators to select. Administrators will need to provide the reference codes to Yonoton to be added at the backend. Also the reference codes can also be freely typed.
Discount Management: Coupon discounts, Compensations, Memberships
Publishing Products: Every created product needs to be published for it to be visible on the Yonoton PoS application.
Highlight product: this will make the product a top choice when viewed with Yonoton’s developed the mobile application.
Hide included products: Included products in a combo can be hidden and will not appear on POS cart page and on Kiosk. This option is to be set on the main/parent product. However if the included products have different VATs this option should not be selected on the main/parent product.
Send to Yorma status: Administrators can define the initial status of a product when they are sent to the order management platform. The status that can be defined for a product includes Completed, Received, Preparing and Ready. For example, a product called Apple pie or a bottle of Coca-cola can be set as completed, hence when the product is sold on the POS system, the product is sent directly to completed. Whereas a product called Pizza may be set as Received and the chef starts the preparation only after the order has been bought. Send to Yorma status can also be applicable for products that are bought on apps that will be picked up or delivered to the customer.
