The basic information provides the initial information about an outlet.
7.1.1 Name: Assigning a unique name to an outlet is very important and necessary. This distinguishes one outlet from another.
7.1.2 Long and short descriptions of the outlet should also be included for clarification purposes.
7.1.3 Time zone: This should be set to the current time where the outlet is located.
7.1.4 Options: On the basic information section of an outlet it is also important to turn on Published. Otherwise, the outlet will not be displayed at the cashiers’ interface of the PoS. It will be hidden.
7.1.4.1 Publishing an Outlet
Select the outlet that is to be published from the lists of outlets.
At the right-hand side of the page under the Options section, turn Publication on.
7.1.5 Initial Status Order: Administrators are expected to set the initial status of customers’ orders at a particular outlet, to determine whether the order will be in the received state, preparation state, ready state, or completed state as at the time the order was made. Once an outlet has been created, the Initial Status order is set to the Default state. This can be changed depending on the agreement between the Merchant using the PoS and Yonoton.
7.1.6 Payment Capture Status: The status of the payment should be indicated by the administrator. Payment Capture Status indicates the status at which the Merchant will receive the payment for orders requested by customers. There are two available options, they include:

7.1.8 Reset Stock Count
The quantities of goods available in an outlet can be updated and set to a particular quantity.
On the chosen outlet, Click RESET STOCK COUNTS at the top of the screen.
A pop-up window will be displayed asking the administrator to confirm the Reset Sock Count action.
Click CONFIRM.
The administrator will receive a notification at the bottom of the screen indicating that the stock has been successfully updated.
7.1.9 Set Preparing Time
Administrators can use this button to set the preparation time for orders made within an outlet. The processing time of orders can be decreased or increased.
On the chosen outlet, Click SET PREPARING TIME at the top of the screen.
A pop-up window displays a stepper which can be increased or decreased.
Set the preparation time as desired.
Click SAVE.
Tips: Preparation time can also be changed using the android device running the Yonoton PoS. This is located in the order management section.
7.1.10 Automatically Complete Ready Orders
For each outlet, Administrators can set a timer for orders to be automatically sent to the completed column and this will take effect on Yonoton’s Order Management View (YORMA). If Automatically complete ready orders (in minutes) is to to 3, this means that orders under Ready ion Yorma will be moved to Completed after 3 minutes
