Custom units such as "Case", "Sleeve", "Box" can be created as custom units on the warehouse products. The custom units are used for the Express Stocktaking process. Administrators can add custom units to existing warehouse products or custom units can be added as a new warehouse product is created.
To create custom units
- Using the navigation bar on the left, click Warehouse
- Select Products.
- Select Create new or select an existing product
- On the Basic Information page select/observe the base unit of the product
- Select the Custom units section
- Select + Custom unit to add a new custom unit. (Note: the base unit or lowest unit does not need to be created as a custom unit)
- Add the required custom units
- Select Save Changes
