Product classes are used for accounting purposes. For example, you can create a product class called “food” and give it a VAT of 13,5%. This means, that when you create a product, for example a burger, and assign it to the food product class, Yonoton’s admin system will automatically change the VAT of that product into 13,5%.

To create a product class:

• Using the navigation bar on the left, click Administration
• Select Product classes
• Click Create new

• Name the Product class and click Create

• Fill in:
  • VAT percent
  • Category
  • Product type
  • Reference code
• When done, click Save changes
